Crucial Changes In Argentina Rugby Team Before The Clash With The Wallabies

Argentina Rugby team (Pumas) has played around five championship matches against Australian Rugby team (Wallabies). But it has not got the opportunity to win even one of those five matches. In totality, Pumas has played seventeen matches in the Rugby Championships and has not won any match.

Surely, Argentina has improved a lot but then the fans are becoming more and more restless because the team has not been able to show any great results. There is a lot of pressure on Argentina’s Pumas as it is going to try to end its winless streak on the 4th of October, 2014 in the match against the Australia’s Wallabies in Mendoza.

Australia played exceptionally well last week but the team was defeated by South Africa. Argentina also could not outplay New Zealand and were crushed terribly.

Although the Pumas have a home advantage against Wallabies, certain crucial changes to the Argentina team lineup has taken place.

Jean Manuel Leguizamon and Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe are not going to be a part of the Pumas squad.

Benjamin Macome is going to be the substitute for Lobbe which means he takes up the No.7 position. Macome’s No. 6 position is going to be taken up by Rodrigo Baez.

Ramiro Herrera is being replaced by Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro in the rugby front row to get the tighthead pro position.

Tomas Lavanini (banned for a week because of charging into Richie McCaw- All Blacks’ captain) is going to play the test against Australia for the very first time.

Martin Landajo will take up the No. 9 rugby position instead of Tomas Cubelli.

The No. 13 jersey will be taken up by Horacio Agulla in order to replace Marcelo Bosch.

Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino is going to replace Manuel Montero as the left winger.

Nicolas Sanchez will start at five-eight rugby position.
