London Irish To Share Ground

London Irish, the Championship rugby club, has given application to share a Brentford FC’s new stadium. The new stadium is all set to be inaugurated at Lionel Road. When did they come up with this move? They started early discussions last month with Hounslow Borough.

Brentford is moving ahead with the plan to build a new home ground with 20,000 capacities. They hope that the stadium will be ready by 2019-2020 season. If everything goes according to the plan, they will be able to move to the new stadium as per the schedule. Read More

Brentford On London Irish Application

London Irish has given an application to Hounslow Council to share home ground with Brentford starting from 2019-2020 season. The proposed stadium will be built on Lionel Road. And Brentford has finally decided to comment on the latest development.

As for Brentford, they couldn’t start the construction of the stadium due to several technical reasons. They had to obtain many compulsory purchase orders to start the construction. Now they are done with all the formalities. If everything goes as planned, they will be able to kick start the construction of the stadium by 2017. Introducing the Philippines Volcanoes

Rugby 7s has been in the news after it was played in the Summer Olympics this year. The Philippines team was having a double finish on the podium for the Southeast Asian Games last year. This year the Volcanoes are looking to be again one of the best teams in Asia.

The Lady’s team is called Lady Volcanoes which is the national team for women. This team will be touring and competing against the Bangkok 7s between 12th and 13th November. Both national teams will then move on to competing in the month of February. At that time there would be two rounds of the 2017 Asian 7s series. The games would be held in Dubai and India. Read More
